Sunday 18th June 2006 was a very special day at Masterton Kennels as our very special old girl, Tara, as she is affectionately known, turned 13.

There was no way we were letting this very important day go by without a fuss so the invitations were posted, cakes were baked and the balloons and streamers were hung up. 

Some highlights from the day.

Here is a picture of the birthday girl trying out one of her favourite presents, her new bed, as you can see and as most of us females can relate to she isn't really impressed at getting her picture taken first thing in the morning as she had just woken up so she was still in her pyjamas and hadn't had her bath or had her hair blow dried yet.

But there was no time to waste as the decorations had to be put up as the guests would be arriving soon.

Then it was time to put the party hats on and let the party begin.

As you can see by the end of the day some of the guests were all partied out
