Barnie's Tribute Page
They
say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Barnie - He filled such a whole in my heart since my mate Trapper passed away.
He was a
truly magnificent ambassador for the breed allowing puppies, kittens and
children alike to be a part of his life without any questions. A dog that
allowed children that didn’t know him to take him into child handlers and
although he was a very powerful dog never pulled so much that they couldn’t
handle him. Right up till his passing, Barnie was still very gentle with
puppies.
At one show the judge’s comment on the pegs was “and this is the show pony of the class”. Actually that was Barnie at every show. He loved to get in the ring and strut his stuff. He always gave 100%. Barnie has accumulated numerous Best Exhibit in Shows at both Specialist and All Breed shows.
Always a very relaxed dog he
decided to join the kids in the pool one day when I visited a friend. Luckily
the kids thought it was pretty cool to have him in there with them.
His sister Celline and best friend Cinders are missing him terribly and anyone that knows Cinders would not be surprised to learn she has gone on a hunger strike since he left her.
Barnie was such a relaxed dog that he never objected to being asked to do things like this.
He looked at home when this picture was taken.
He now joins all the other great dogs at the place where there is no more pain.
Barnie will always have a place in our hearts.
Run free our little man.
